The Megas family has been serving the golden triangle, the freshest seafood and finest steaks for over 60 years. Since 1947 local families have chosen to spend their birthday parties, wedding rehearsal dinners, and family functions at The Schooner. When you dine at the Schooner you are treated not as customers, but as guest in our home. There is always a member of the family on duty to take care of any special request and ensure that your dining experience is an enjoyable one.

All seafood served at The Schooner are caught fresh daily. We fillet snapper and flounder, butterfly shrimp, shuck oysters and process all seafood in our kitchen. We hand cut and trim all CERTIFIED ANGUS BEEF STEAKS and prepare gumbo, stuffings, sauces and salad dressing from family recipes. This is why many of our entrees can only be found in our restaurant. We would never serve an inferior product to our family and friends.
